The Manchester Christmas Markets open in 2 days… 2 DAYS!!!
On Saturday, Manchester City centre will be bustling with excitement as the annual Christmas markets will open… with much mulled wine and calorific treats consumed.
The Christmas Markets do stretch out around Manchester, with stalls being located in:
St Ann’s Square
New Cathedral Street
The Corn Exchange
The Christmas stalls have already popped up at The Rock complex in Bury and after having a nosey yesterday, I was very tempted by the huge chocolate covered marshmallows… may have to treat myself at some point… and then spend a week at the gym!
There are lots of thrilling and fun filled family activities popping up in Manchester in the run up to Christmas…
Big Fish Little Fish, will be launching their inaugural Manchester based family clubbing event at the Chorlton Irish Club on Sunday November 22nd. Although tickets are sold out for the family rave up – you can still purchase tickets for the ‘SuperHero’ themed Big Fish Little Fish rave on February 7th 2016, again at the Chorlton Irish Club.
Generation Workshop run after school club sessions, birthday parties or preschool workshops in Bury and the surrounding area. Offering fun Science and Art based workshops, children of all ages can be mesmerized at the same time as learning! Generation Workshop proves learning can be fun… even for adults too as there are opportunities for parents to take part. Find out about your local classes via the Generation Workshop Facebook page.
The East Lancs Railway will be hosting plenty of Santa Specials throughout November and December, which are magical for families… before they bring out the big one… The Flying Scotsman in January… I may have to treat myself to a seat on this legendary train!
