R&B legends, Soul II Soul have been announced as the festival headliners (featuring on the Sunday) – as an old school R&B lady, this pleases me greatly!

British dance and R&B legends Soul II Soul will see out the 2014 festival season with a bang on Sunday 21st September at this year’s Ramsbottom Festival. Rocketing to fame in the early 90s with hit ‘Back to Life’, the group will be bringing its cool fusion of reggae, blues and dance vibes to Lancashire’s laid-back festival. Levellers will be headlining on Friday with British Sea Power topping the bill on Saturday.’

The Lineup includes: The Tapestry, Jimi Goodwin, Cara Dillon, Gramo Tones, Frankie Forman, Keston Cobblers’ Club and more… Arts and Entertainment will be on show over the weekend, including Les Enfants Terribles’ Marvellous Imaginary Menagerie and Lolly, Pops and Circus Props (for children aged 3-7 years) plus many more!

It was absolutely fantastic – you definitely need to go next year! The kids absolutely loved it, there was so much going on for them and so much space to run around and just be kids. It helped that the weather was lovely too!
