It has snowed.
I don’t like the snow.
Maybe I am a tad Scrooge like, but seriously, give me a hot, sunny beach over a snow topped mountain any day. Now clearly, it has snowed yesterday, that meant playing outside pre 10am , along with almost everyone in our close. It’s always good for a catch up gossip with neighbours, so long as you are wrapped up warm.
In this weather, I am grateful for my flat ski boots that I can throw on with my skinny jeans in order to simply dive out of the house and have fun in the snow. With age comes wisdom and these days it’s all about sensible attire!
I am not a slipper fan, so to come back into the warmth and slip my feet into a pair of snuggly Ugg boots to warm up feet that have turned into icicles is utter bliss! Possibly the best money I have ever invested in a pair of shoes or boots… my Ugg boots are almost 9 year old. Now, clearly I don’t wear them every day, but I certainly appreciate them when I do. If you are on the hunt for a new pair of boots to help you survive the Winter season in style check out the Uggs range here, you will not be disappointed!
How I long for wearing my bold, colourful ballerinas again though… a few more months before the sun decides to grace us with its presence though.
Well, today as expected the snow has disappeared and you wouldn’t even know it had snowed bar for everyone talking about it! Manchester weather is great – you can pretty much predict it will rain every day, therefore making outfit choices slightly easier.
Writing this post has not been easy in the slightest, in fact, it has now made me want to add to my already ridiculous shoe collection… off I go! 😉
